    Introduced to the market back in 2017 and given a design facelift in 2018, Hyundain’s Tucson Sport has returned in further enhanced flavour. The Tucson Sport is available in two derivatives: the petrol version with a 1,6-litre turbocharged engine, and a diesel version with a 2-litre turbocharged engine.

    Engine options

    The 1.6-litre petrol turbo delivers 150 kW of power and maximum torque of 300 Nm. This engine is paired with an automatic 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), with the option of manual shift override.

    The 2-litre turbodiesel also delivers 150 kW of power with an increased torque figure of 460 Nm. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which also offers a manual shift option.

    Interior

    The Tucson Sport’s interior is similar to the other derivatives in the range, stand out features include electric seat adjustment for the driver and passenger, dual climate control, rear air vents, rear parking assist cameras and a rear-view camera with a display on the infotainment screen, and a panoramic sunroof.

    Safety

    The Tucson Sport has a raft of safety features including Blind Spot Detection, Cross Traffic Alert, Vehicle Stability Management and Hill-start Assist Control.

    Pricing

    The prices of the Tucson Sport are:

    Tucson 1.6 TGDI Sport (Dual Clutch Transmission): R654,900

    Tucson R2.0 Sport Turbodiesel (automatic): R664,900

    All prices include:

    • A 5 year/90,000 km service plan;
    • A 7-year/200,000 km warranty; and
    • Roadside assistance for 7 years or 150,000 km.

        Hi Keo

        Vehicle financing depends on the individual and the deal the bank is prepared to offer. Please try this tool to see how much it is per month: https://www.wesbank.co.za/partners/calculators/repayment.xhtml?siteID=fnb

        Impressive car by Hyundai. We hope that it becomes a global thing so Hyundai can invest more on research and development to make it a much better car that it can be.
