The updated Audi A5 range is finally available in South Africa. The range consists of the Sportback, Coupe and Convertible body styles, which feature a host of technology and design updates.

    Exterior styling updates

The front-end of the new Audi A5 features a wider mesh grille and ventilation slits above it, which pay tribute to classic Audi Sport Quattro from 1984. The grille is flanked by Matix LED headlights, Matrix LED headlights and LED taillights with sequential turn signals are standard throughout the range. Its redesigned lower front-bumper has wider air inlets.

The standard A5 features 17-inch aluminum wheels and matte black grille with a chrome fame. The S5 gets 19-inch S style wheels, S sports suspension, red brake calipers as well as S specific exterior and interior trims.

The rear features standard LED taillights, trapezoidal exhaust ends and a specific rear diffuser for S-Line models. All body styles have decent luggage capacity including the convertible which has 370-litres of boot space. Its rear seats are foldable for increased luggage capacity.
