    Citroën South Africa releases updated C3 details

    The refreshed C3 comprises of two derivatives, namely Pure Tech Feel and Pure Tech Shine. The former is powered by a 1.2-litre engine producing 60 kW and it’s paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The top-spec is also powered by 1.2-litre engine, but it develops 81 kW and it’s mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

    Driver assistance and safety systems

    The updated Citroën C3 comes with Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation, Driver Attention Warning, Coffee Break Alert, 6 airbags across the range, ABS, EBA, EBD, TCS, ESP, and optional Safety Film and Tracking solutions.

    Nip & tuck

    The distinctive and bold exterior design has been revised with distinctive chrome chevrons and a new scratch-proof Air bump designs with silver effect inserts. The Shine derivative comes with 16-inch alloy Wheels, auto wipers, rear parking sensors and the two-tone body colour options.

    Inside, both Feel and Shine derivatives get a leather wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, upgraded Advanced Comfort seats and noise-cancelling. The Shine derivative gets a 7-inch Touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple Carplay and auto dim rear-view mirrors.

    Pricing, availability and warranty

    The Pricing for the Citroën C3 starts at R269,900 for the Pure Tech Feel and R324,900 for the range-topping Shine. The Feel derivative has been available since the beginning of March 2021 while the Shine will be available from May 2021.

    All Citroën passenger vehicles come with a 5 Year / 100,000 km warranty and a 3 year / 60,000km Service Plan.
