As a manner to further enhance the 2017 World Car of The Year and World Car Design of the Year awards for the F-Pace SUV, the manufacturer is set to introduce two special edition models of the SUV.

The 300 Sport and the Chequered Flag models are both set to be introduced to our market in the third quarter of 2019.

Starting with the 300 Sport F-Pace, the SUV comes fitted with a choice of two 221 kW AWD engine options; a 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol with 400 Nm of torque and a 3.0-litre V6 diesel with 700 Nm of torque.

The petrol variant dashes from 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 233 km/h, while the latter accelerates from 0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds with a top speed of 241km/h.

To set it apart from the normal F-Paces, it comes with a Dark Satin Grey exterior detailing, a front grille surround that extends to the side window surrounds, side vents, mirror caps, and door finishers, as well as the rear valance. It also features 300 SPORT badges on the front grille and rear tailgate, it is available exclusively in Yulong White, Indus Silver and Santorini Black.

As expected, the F-Pace features yellow contrast stitching on the instrument panel, centre console and leather seats. There is a 300 SPORT logo badged on the treadplates, carpet mats, front headrests and steering wheel.

There is a 12.3-inch interactive driver display that features Touch Pro Navigation with Connect Pro. A Meridian sound system and 14-way electric front seats also form part of the standard specification.

    Chequered Flag F-Pace

Based on the R-Sport, the Chequered Flag F-Pace comes with a sport front bumper and Gloss Black detailing on the front grille, door cladding, side vents, and roof rails. It is strictly available in Yulong White, Santorini Black and in the newly introduced colour, Eiger Grey.

The interior comes in leather trim, meshed aluminium detailing and Chequered Flag treadplates. Standard features include 10-way electric front seats, Touch Pro Navigation Pack, Meridian Sound System, reconfigurable 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display and the Touch Pro infotainment system as standard.

In terms of powertrains, it comes with a range of 2.0-litre AWD powertrains.  A 2.0-litre AWD Ingenium petrol engine with 184 kW and two 2.0-litre diesel options offer either 132 kW or 177 kW, both also with all-wheel drive.
