One of the most anticipated events on the motoring calender is the BMW M Festival where attendees are treated to a fun-filled day with a fleet of sizzling hot M and non-M cars on display, a race track experience and a star-studded line-up of artists who will be performing live music to list a few. This year, BMW’s high-performance division is celebrating its 50 years of BMW M  GmbH and as expected the brand will be pulling all the stops to make the 2022 BMW M Festival the best-ever.

Which cars you should expect to see

Throughout the course of this year BMW and BMW M has released a bunch of new vehicles including special-edition M cars like the first-ever M3 Competition Touring (station-wagon), the highly sought-after M4 CSL and the new, opinion splitting XM, which are likely to feature at this year’s event. Another high-performance car which is rumored to make its public debut at the 2022 M Festival is the next-generation BMW M2.

Joining the fleet of the latest BMW M vehicles will be a handful of new, fully-electric BMW i and BMW Heritage models like the i4 M50 and the 530 Motorsport Limited Edition (MLE) which was restored locally at BMW Group Plant in Rosslyn.

    Event details

The event will take place on the 15th and 16th of October 2022 at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre. Tickets can be purchased here.
