Following the introduction of special edition models in the Q2, A3, Q3 and A4 line-ups, the popular Q5 range now gains the Black Edition package which boasts enhanced specification, dark trim accents and alloy wheel designs. The Black Edition treatment can be selected for the Q5 40 TDI and 40 TFSI, as well as the SQ5 TFSI variants across SUV and Sportback body styles.

It’s powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering a stout 260kW and 500Nm of torque and mated with an eight-speed torque-converter Tiptronic automatic transmission, the SQ5 bolts from 0-100km/h in a claimed 4.9 seconds.
