Mazda South Africa enters the new year with a commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainability, despite challenges in the local automotive market.

    Commitment to SA

Mazda has solidified its local presence with strategic supplier partnerships, modern facilities, and collaborations to enhance efficiency. “Mazda South Africa is here to stay with a bright future ahead,” says Bonite van der Merwe, Head of Finance.

    Customer-focused Innovation

Underpinning Mazda’s customer-centric approach is the ethos of “Omotenashi” (thoughtful hospitality). New tools like an advanced CRM system and WhatsApp-based support redefine the ownership experience. Enhancements include a Courtesy Vehicle Program and a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty.

    Exciting product line-up

Mazda’s 2025 line-up is a testament to its commitment to innovation and premium quality, with a focus on hybrid and electric advancements:

CX-80 Premium PHEV: A luxury seven-seater SUV designed for families who value spaciousness, comfort, and sustainability. The Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) option combines Mazda’s premium design with eco-friendly efficiency, making it perfect for modern lifestyles.

CX-5 Next Generation: The iconic compact SUV receives a major overhaul, blending sporty dynamics with advanced technology and refined styling. Known for its reliability and versatility, the next-gen CX-5 is set to raise the bar in the segment.

Mazda 6 e: A cutting-edge electric sedan that blends classic Mazda sophistication with the latest EV technology. With sleek lines and a focus on performance, the Mazda 6 e is designed to compete with top-tier electric sedans while staying true to Mazda’s driver-centric ethos.

CX-60 PHEV: Mazda’s first mid-size PHEV SUV, combining powerful performance with an eco-friendly plug-in hybrid powertrain. The CX-60 is aimed at customers looking for a balance of luxury, efficiency, and functionality.

Daphne Greyling, Head of Sales, states, “We’re delivering vehicles that meet and exceed expectations. These models demonstrate our dedication to innovation while maintaining Mazda’s reputation for quality and reliability.”

    Dealer network evolution

Mazda’s dealer network is undergoing strategic refinement to better serve its target market, prioritizing accessibility and convenience.
