Hyundai’s updated 2025 Tucson has officially landed in South Africa, with the refreshed model now available at local dealerships. The new line-up offers three derivatives: the Hyundai TUCSON 2.0 Premium AT, Hyundai TUCSON R2.0D Executive AT, and Hyundai TUCSON R2.0D N Line AWD AT.

    Exterior and interior design updates

The facelifted Tucson features a more dynamic and sporty design. Exterior enhancements include a redesigned front with a parametric grille and a rugged bumper for a bold SUV appearance. At the rear, the bumper and skid plate have been reshaped.

Inside, the TUCSON features a wrap-around architecture, with a double-layer crash pad and a three-dimensional door design that frames the driver’s space. A 12.3-inch panoramic curved display stretches across the dashboard.

    Performance and engine specs

The Tucson 2.0 Premium AT is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 115 kW/192 Nm, sending power to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0D Executive and 2.0D AWD N Line are both equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that delivers 137 kW/416 Nm. The former sends power to the front wheels, while the latter powers an AWD system through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

    Tech and safety features

Across the range, the TUCSON includes several standard and advanced features:

    • 12.3-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

    • Wireless charging

    • Rear air-conditioning

    • Cruise control

    • Front and rear parking sensors

    • Rear-view camera

Additional features on the TUCSON 2.0 Premium AT include:
