Range Rover continues to push the boundaries of luxury, design and innovation with the introduction of the visually arresting Range Rover SV Black. Joining the flagship SV Serenity and SV Intrepid derivatives, the SV Black embodies stealthy elegance and unmatched personalisation. Making its debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this model is a statement of exclusivity and craftsmanship.

    Range Rover SV Black exterior

The Range Rover SV Black commands attention with its sleek, all-black aesthetic. Finished in Narvik Gloss Black, the SUV exudes a stealthy yet sophisticated presence. Every design detail is meticulously finished in high-gloss black – from the mesh grille and bonnet lettering to the darkened grille oval and ceramic SV roundel at the rear.

Adding to its road presence are striking 23-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels paired with subtle branding and black brake calipers – a first for Range Rover. The SV Black is undoubtedly the brand’s boldest interpretation of monochrome elegance to date.

    Range Rover SV Black interior

Inside, the SV Black blends modern luxury with moody sophistication. The cabin is cloaked in Near-Aniline Ebony leather, featuring a unique graduated rectangle perforation pattern and minimal stitching for a seamless, premium feel.

The minimalist theme continues with single-panel seat covers, black birch veneers, and a satin black ceramic gear shifter. Subtle Moonlight Chrome accents bring a cool, jewel-like contrast throughout the cabin, while every surface is designed to be as tactile as it is visually stunning.

    Range Rover SV Black performance

Under the bonnet, the SV Black is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine developing 452kW and 750Nm. Zero to 100km/h is achieved in a claimed 4.5 ( or 4.3 with Dynamic Launch engaged). Land Rover also claims a fuel range and consumption of 769 km (from its 90 litres fuel tank capacity) and 11.7l/100km.

    Range Rover SV Black pricing

The Range Rover SV Black will be available in South Africa from late 2025, with buyers able to choose between:

    Standard Wheelbase (five-seat): From R5,269,200

Long Wheelbase (four- or five-seat): From R5,718,700
