The mighty little Suzuki Jimny is once again ready to prove that size doesn’t matter when it comes to making a big impact. Jimny Gathering 2025 is set for 25 to 28 September at the scenic Louvain Guest Farm in the Outeniqua Mountains, Western Cape, where hundreds of passionate Jimny owners will converge for a long weekend of trails, laughs, and community spirit.
If you thought the 2023 Gathering in Clarens was unforgettable – where almost 800 Jimnys and their classic siblings switched on their lights at the same time to set a Guinness World Record – then get ready for the next level.

The 2025 challenge: A synchronized door slam
This year, Suzuki and its loyal fans are aiming to write another quirky but impressive chapter in Guinness history: the most cars to close their doors simultaneously.
According to Guinness World Records, the attempt requires at least 250 vehicles, each closing at least one door within a five-second window after the signal. Judging by the turnout in Clarens, Suzuki Auto South Africa is confident of smashing that requirement.

More than just a record attempt
Of course, the Gathering is about much more than ticking off records. The weekend promises an action-packed programme filled with off-road adventures, lifestyle activities, and plenty of opportunities for Jimny owners to show off their builds.
Bigger and better than ever
At the inaugural Gathering, nearly 800 vehicles took part – from brand-new Jimnys to classic LJ, SJ and Samurai models. Suzuki expects even more enthusiasts to show up in 2025, making Louvain Guest Farm the place to be for any 4×4 fan with adventure in their blood.
The synchronized slam is set for 27 September, so if you own a Jimny or simply love the quirky, go-anywhere SUV, this is your chance to witness history being made – and maybe even be part of it.
