Aston Martin has unveiled the DB12 S, the new halo model in its DB bloodline. Building on the already potent DB12, this version brings more power, sharper dynamics, and a suite of focused chassis upgrades that enhance performance without compromising comfort.

Under the bonnet, the DB12 S features an uprated 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 515 kW and 800 Nm of torque. The result is a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 325 mph. To match the added power, Aston Martin has tuned the throttle response and reduced gearshift times by more than 50%, giving drivers quicker reactions and a more connected feel behind the wheel.

Performance gains extend beyond the engine. The DB12 S benefits from recalibrated Bilstein dampers, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, and revised suspension geometry for greater agility and precision. The steering and electronic rear differential have also been retuned, improving front-end confidence and stability through corners.

Carbon ceramic brakes are now standard, offering greater stopping power, improved fade resistance, and a 27 kg reduction in unsprung mass. The result is better ride quality, sharper steering feedback, and enhanced control under hard braking.

Visually, the DB12 S stands apart with an aerodynamic package that includes a new dual-element front splitter, bonnet louvres, gloss-black side sills, and a fixed rear spoiler. A revised rear diffuser integrates quad exhaust outlets, creating a more assertive stance while improving high-speed stability.

Inside, the DB12 S continues Aston Martin’s focus on craftsmanship and detail. The cabin introduces a red anodised drive mode rotary controller, matching seatbelt and stitching accents, and a choice of three new interior themes: Accelerate (leather and Alcantara), Inspire S (semi-aniline leather and Alcantara), and Inspire S Full (semi-aniline leather). All models come with 16-way Sport Plus electric seats, with optional carbon-fibre performance seats for those seeking a racier setup.

“The technology we introduced with the DB12 now allows us to explore a new depth of character and capability,” said Simon Newton, Aston Martin’s Director of Vehicle Performance. “With the DB12 S, we’ve added greater performance and engagement while preserving the refinement that defines a Super Tourer.”
