Hyundai Automotive South Africa has announced the appointment of Siya Qamba as its new Regional Manager for the Gauteng East Region, effective January 2026.

Qamba’s appointment follows a 16-year career with the company, during which he played a leading role in contributing to more than 12,000 vehicle sales. His progression through the ranks has been marked by consistent performance and long-term involvement across multiple Hyundai dealerships in the region.

Announcing the appointment, Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa, said the promotion reflects the company’s focus on recognising sustained results and commitment.

He noted that Qamba’s career journey highlights the impact of consistency, dedication and belief in the brand, adding that his progression serves as an example to others within the organisation who aspire to grow their careers through performance and perseverance.

Prior to his new role, Qamba served as Dealer Principal at Hyundai Boksburg. In his new position, he will oversee eight dealerships across the Gauteng East Region, managing a combined workforce of 349 employees.

Commenting on his appointment, Qamba acknowledged the responsibility that comes with the role and expressed appreciation for the leadership and mentorship he received throughout his career. He highlighted his background in sales and customer service as a key driver of his professional journey, noting that customer satisfaction has remained central to his approach within the Hyundai network.

Qamba began his career with Hyundai Automotive South Africa in 2006 as a Sales Executive at Hyundai East Rand. In 2010, he was appointed Branch Manager at Hyundai Bruma, before moving into Dealer Principal roles at Hyundai Heidelberg and Kia Heidelberg.

In 2017, he took on the role of Dealer Principal at Hyundai Bedfordview, where he remained for more than six years, overseeing operational and business performance. From 2023, he served as Dealer Principal at Hyundai Boksburg, further expanding his leadership experience and regional involvement ahead of his latest appointment.
