    Audi U.S. announced today that the TT RS will no longer be sold after the 2022 model year. To celebrate the highly praised high-performance two seater, Audi U.S. introduced a limited offering of 50 special units called TT RS Heritage Edition.

    The Audi TT RS Heritage Edition gets five Audi heritage colours, unique exterior and interior styling, as well as a host of standard features. The limited TT RS Heritage Edition is available in five different color combinations, listed below in the five-cylinder firing order, and is limited to only 10 units of each:

    1. Alpine White with Ocean Blue leather and Diamond Silver stitch;

    2. Helios Blue metallic Diamond Silver leather and Ocean Blue stitch;

    3. Stone Gray metallic with Crimson Red leather and Jet Gray stitch;

    4. Tizian Red metallic with Havanna Brown leather and Jet Gray stitch; and

    5. Malachite Green metallic with Cognac Brown leather and Black stitch.

    Interior

    Inside, the TT RS Heritage Edition features a leather interior with contrast stitching combinations leveraged from the current Audi exclusive portfolio of upholstery selections, and includes several first-time color combinations for the U.S. market. To further underline the exclusivity of the limited edition model, the TT RS Heritage Edition exhibits an understated, yet distinctive etch of “Heritage Edition” script followed by the firing order of the five-cylinder engine “1-2-4-5-3”, underlined by a “quattro” script in the rear quarter glass on the right side of each car.

    Exclusive equipment

    Additionally, the TT RS Heritage Edition presents an exclusive list of standard equipment. These include 20-inch 5-arm cutter design wheels in bi-color anthracite finish, Audi exclusive etching in rear quarter glass, 174 mph (280 km/h) top speed limiter, Alcantara covered steering wheel with 12 o’clock marker in leather color, Alcantara covered shift lever, Alu-optic exterior elements including mirror housings, OLED taillights, RS logo floor mats with contrast stitching, Sport exhaust with black tips and Electric spoiler / rear wing delete.

    Performance

    The TT RS Heritage Edition is still powered by the award-winning 2.5-litre 5-cylinder engine with a unique 1-2-4-5-3 firing order. The engine develops 294 kW / 480 Nm and it’s paired to a 7-speed S tronic transmission. Power is fed to all four wheels via the automaker’s Quattro all-wheel drive system enabling the TT RS Heritage Edition to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The TT RS Heritage Edition has a top speed of 280 km/h.

    While 2022 is the last model year for the TT RS in the U.S., the model will live on in other international markets for some time.
