Mazda’s flagship CX-60, introduced to South Africa in July last year, initially offered a single powerplant option—a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre petrol engine. Mazda South Africa has now confirmed the expansion of the CX-60 lineup, introducing a new Takumi variant along with a hybridized turbodiesel engine.

    Turbocharged mild hybrid diesel powerplant

Joining the CX-60 range is a 3.3-litre in-line 6-cylinder turbodiesel mild hybrid engine, delivering a robust 187 kW and 550 Nm of torque.

    Takumi Grade

The Mazda CX-60 Takumi boasts an exclusive front bumper design, a bar-type piano black grille, a bright metal finish on the front signature wings, side signatures, and glazing surrounds, as well as 20-inch black metallic, diamond-cut machined alloy wheels.

    Availability

Anticipated to hit the South African market in February 2024, the new Mazda CX-60 Takumi will start at R1,049,200. The CX-60 3.3L Turbo Diesel Mild-Hybrid comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage service plan and warranty, ensuring you surrender to its power without compromising the quality of your journey.
