    Nissan X-Trail gets upgrade infotainment and other changes to range

    Nissan South Africa recently announced that the X-Trail will now feature the brand’s Nissan Connect infotainment system as well as a few other vehicle enhancements.

    The popular SUV’s new Nissan Connect infotainment system is said to be intuitive, designed to reduce distractions and enhance convenience, connectivity, and in-vehicle digital experience. Consumers will use the dash-mounted 7-inch touch display to operate the new infotainment system, which also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

    Additional to the Nissan Connect system the X-Trail is now available with the following key enhancements added to the mid-spec Acenta & range-topping Tekna derivatives:

    – LED headlights;

    – Reverse camera;

    – Push start button; and

    – Keyless entry with sensor-controlled power tailgate.

    The Japanese automaker’s top of the range X-Trail Tekna derivative features Nissan Intelligent Mobility. It comes with the following technology designed to make every journey as seamless and effortless as possible:

    – Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention;

    – Intelligent Lane Intervention;

    – Intelligent Cross Traffic Alert;

    – Intelligent Emergency Braking;

    – Intelligent Forward Collision Warning;

    – Intelligent Auto Headlights; and

    – Intelligent Around View Monitor.

    The recommended retail prices for the Nissan X-Trail range is as follows:

    – X-TRAIL 2.0 VISIA 7S                                                     R462,000;

    – X-TRAIL 2.5 Acenta CVT 4WD                                    R508,900;

    – X-TRAIL 2.5 Acenta CVT 4WD 7s                              R513,900;

    – X-TRAIL 1.6 dci Tekna 4WD                                        R585,900; and

    – X-TRAIL 2.5 Tekna CVT 4WD 7s                                R599,900.

    The X-Trail range includes 3year/90,000 km Service Plan and 6year/150,000km warranty.
