Speaking of the trims, the BR-V will still be available in three trims: Trend, Comfort and the Elegance. The mid-range and top spec which are the Comfort and the Elegance will now be equipped with rear parking sensors. While the Elegance will now feature a seven-inch Display Audio touchscreen system that integrates the reverse parking reverse camera. The driver of the Elegance also gets leather upholstery and Honda’s Smart Entry system with keyless entry. Other notable features in the Trend and Comfort is an audio system, which compromises of USB and Bluetooth connectivity.

    Engine

All the models of the updated Honda BR-V are powered by the similar 1.5-litre iVTEC four-cylinder engine with power outputs of 88kW and 145Nm of torque. The BR-V Trend is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, while the Comfort and Elegance trims also add the option of a CVT automatic transmission.

The Honda BR-V range is priced as follows:

    BR-V 1.5 Trend Manual                  R258,800

    BR-V 1.5 Comfort Manual             R291,500

    BR-V 1.5 Comfort CVT                    R310,300

    BR-V 1.5 Elegance Manual            R314,400

All models come standard with a five-year/200,000 km warranty, and three-year AA Roadside Assist. A new four-year/60 000 km extended service plan is included on the Honda BR-V Comfort and Elegance models, and is available as an option on the Trend.
