Following record breaking 2021 and turn of the year sales the Japanese automaker seems to be continuing with on the part of great results.

Suzuki South Africa sold a total of 3,240 new vehicles in the month of February.  The Swift and Swift Sport remains the most popular models in the local scene with 1,313 units sold. It is followed by the Vitara Brezza (664). The securing of larger quantity Jimny’s by Suzuki SA has seen it also rise steadily for the last six months and 394 customers welcomed the much-loved SUV in their homes.

These numbers have assisted in consolidating Suzuki’s third largest vehicle brand.

    Dealer Network

The ever-growing dealer network (78) accounted for 78% of the lion’s share of the monthly sales. While Suzuki’s corporate and fleet sales team division sold 710 vehicles to corporate, fleet, and governmental customers.

Fuel price rise The increase in brent crude oil has seen a rise in the local prices this has thus had no bearing to Suzuki as they keep breaking more record. That’s evident in 51% sales growth over February 2021. The introduction of the new Baleno and budget Celerio will mostly probably come with further records
