ISUZU Motors South Africa, the title sponsor of IRONMAN South Africa, proudly supports a diverse and accomplished group of athletes and individuals gearing up for the upcoming IRONMAN Mossel Bay event on November 19.

Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountains and the pristine azure sea, Mossel Bay’s landscape provides a breathtaking venue for this renowned competition, known for its relentless test of physical endurance. This event marks the culmination of a demanding series of IRONMAN challenges held earlier in Gqeberha and Durban this year.

Expressing enthusiasm for ISUZU’s 15-year partnership with IRONMAN, Ziphindiwe Ngcobo, Department Executive for Marketing at ISUZU, says, “We are thrilled to be part of the Mossel Bay event. The IRONMAN brand, akin to ISUZU, celebrates being BOLD BEYOND HUMAN, recognizing the endurance of ordinary individuals who dare to step out of their comfort zone and take on a challenge of this magnitude.”

ISUZU’s sponsorship lineup includes a diverse mix of participants, ranging from ISUZU dealers and loyal customers to esteemed athletes such as South Africa’s renowned triathlon coach, Steve Atwell. As a certified Level 2 Triathlon coach accredited by TSA and ASA, Steve Atwell chairs ATC Multisport, South Africa’s largest multisport club, and founded ‘Embark Tri’ in 2010 to mentor novice athletes.

This diverse sponsorship reflects ISUZU’s commitment to supporting both professional athletes and local heroes who embody the enduring spirit of ISUZU and the indomitable strength it represents.

“As a brand dedicated to the communities we serve, ISUZU is committed to giving back and making a difference. The IRONMAN Mossel Bay competition serves as an excellent platform to engage with the local community and inspire individuals to embrace a healthier and more active lifestyle,” adds Ngcobo. Mossel Bay’s landscape, adorned with lush rolling hills and a vibrant tapestry of agricultural and cultural heritage, sets the stage for an extraordinary event.
