The battery electric vehicle era has spawned a handful of new automaker’s who solely manufacture all-electric vehicles. One such an automaker is Aehra. The new Italian kid on the block released a few teaser images of what looks like high-performance SUV.

Judging by the teaser images provided by Aehra, the company’s first model sports a futuristic, edgy design. Some might say it somewhat resembles a Lamborghini. Well, that might because one of the staff members is Lamborghini’s former chief designer, Filippo Perini.

Other noteworthy design cues are its slim head and taillights, butterfly doors up front and Tesla Model S inspired Gullwing doors at the rear.

Aehra’s vision is to “synthesize the elegance of Italian design global engineering, and American customer service with the future of EV monobodied manufacturing. Aehra is intensely-focused on creating a driving experience that is always extraordinary. For business or pleasure, AEHRA is a valued necessity to everyday life that is as beautiful as it is functional.”

The electric car manufacturer is said to unveil their first-ever car in October 2022.
