    Volkswagen Commercial SA adds new Life model-derivative in Amarok range

    Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has added a new Life derivative in the Amarok model line-up.

    Amarok Life Exterior Styling

    The new Amarok Life 2.0 TDI 125kW 4×2 comes well-equipped with a range of practical and premium features which includes 17-inch Combra alloy wheels. For added convenience and safety, the derivative features a power tailgate lock, trailer hitch, front and rear Park Distance Control including a fixed rear-view camera. The seat trim covers are finished in fabric, and the load box is fitted with six tie-down hooks and integrated cargo lights on the sides, making it ideal for both family and work-related tasks.

    Amarok Life Interior Styling and Tech

    Inside, the Amarok Life features an 8-inch multifunction display with radio, six speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Amarok Life includes a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel and cruise control with a speed limiter.

    Safety features

    Safety is a priority, with LED headlights and Daytime Running Lights, as well as driver and front passenger airbags.

    Powertrain

    The Amarok Life is powered by a 2.0 TDI engine developing 125kW and 405Nm from its four-cylinder engine. The top speed is 180km/h and Volkswagen claims a fuel consumption of 6.9l/100km.

    Price and warranty

    Amarok 2.0 TDI 125kW – R704,700

    The Volkswagen Amarok comes standard with a 5-year/ 150 000 km warranty and 5-year / 100 000 km Genuine Easy Drive maintenance plan.
