Porsche has taken the wraps off the eagerly-awaited 992.2 911 Turbo S, and it’s nothing short of breathtaking. The new flagship of the 911 lineup builds on its predecessor’s reputation as the benchmark in performance, comfort, and everyday usability, but now with even more power, agility, and exclusivity. Available in Coupé and Cabriolet form, the latest Turbo S brings sharper design, smarter aerodynamics, cutting-edge hybrid tech, and track-ready dynamics to the table.

    Twin-turbo T-Hybrid powertrain – a first for the Turbo S

At the heart of the new 911 Turbo S is Porsche’s innovative T-Hybrid system, delivering a jaw-dropping 523 kW (711 PS) and 800 Nm of torque. That makes it the most powerful production 911 ever built.

This system uses a 3.6-litre flat-six engine paired with two electric exhaust gas turbochargers (eTurbos) and a lightweight 400V hybrid battery. The result? Blistering performance: 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds. Top speed? An electrifying 322 km/h.

Compared to its predecessor, the Turbo S gains 61 PS and sharper throttle response thanks to the eTurbos. Porsche fans will also appreciate the throaty new titanium sports exhaust with asymmetrical timing for an even sharper soundtrack.

    Record-breaking Nürburgring lap time

Despite the extra weight of the hybrid system, Porsche engineers managed to keep weight increase to just 85 kg. The gains in power and dynamics more than compensate: the new Turbo S lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:03.92 minutes – a massive 14 seconds quicker than its predecessor. Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister summed it up best: “The car is much more agile, has more grip, and is significantly faster.”

Brakes, tyres and chassis – engineered for extreme performance

To harness all that power, Porsche fitted the new Turbo S with the largest PCCB ceramic brake system ever on a 911 two-door. Massive 420 mm discs at the front and 410 mm at the rear deliver unmatched stopping power, while wider 325/30 ZR 21 rear tires improve grip without sacrificing wet performance.

The chassis also benefits from Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC), now electro-hydraulic thanks to the hybrid system. This setup minimizes body roll and boosts agility, making the car more predictable whether carving corners or cruising highways.

    Intelligent active aerodynamics

Aerodynamics have taken a leap forward with active cooling flaps, a front diffuser, and the familiar variable front spoiler lip and rear wing. These elements work together to improve cooling, reduce drag, and enhance stability. In wet conditions, the system even shields the brakes from excessive water spray.

Exclusive Turbo S design and interior

Visually, the new Turbo S stands out with Porsche’s new “Turbonite” design accents, exclusive to Turbo models. The color highlights details such as the Porsche crest, badges, and interior stitching. A wider stance, new ventilation openings, and titanium tailpipes reinforce its muscular road presence.

Inside, drivers are greeted with adaptive 18-way Sports Seats Plus, carbon-structured trim, and a perforated microfiber headliner. The layout blends modern tech with heritage touches inspired by the first 911 Turbo (930). Porsche’s HD Matrix LED headlights come standard, boosting safety and visibility.

    Personalization and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur

As always, personalization is key. Customers can dip into Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur program for features such as visible carbon roofs, custom paint-to-sample colors, and even carbon fiber wiper arms – 50% lighter than standard ones.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S for your wrist

In true Porsche fashion, the experience doesn’t stop at the car. Owners can order a Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S, fully customizable to match their car, down to the paint colors, leather strap, and wheel-inspired rotor. Handcrafted in Switzerland, this timepiece is the ultimate accessory for Turbo S owners.
