GWM rolls out new P300 SX for business and fleet buyers

GWM South Africa has launched the new P300 SX range, a model aimed squarely at buyers who need a reliable workhorse that doesn’t skimp on comfort or value. Offered in both Single Cab and Double Cab formats, the SX replaces the outgoing P-Series SX models and rounds out the P300 line-up with a fresh mix of practicality and modern design.

The timing couldn’t be better. Many businesses are feeling the squeeze of rising costs, and a fleet vehicle needs to do more than just get from point A to B. “The P300 SX was built to take the pressure off fleet managers,” says Floyd Ramabulana, Head of Marketing at GWM South Africa. “It delivers durability, load capability and aftersales support, while still being versatile and comfortable.”

    Engine and performance

At the heart of the SX is a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 120 kW and 400 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. With a maximum towing capacity of 2 250 kg, it’s a strong fit for sectors like logistics, construction, agriculture and contracting. Whether it’s hauling loads or handling long shifts, the SX is designed to keep up.

    Cab and features

Beyond raw strength, the SX comes with features that make daily driving easier. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with front and rear fog lamps for visibility in tough conditions. Inside, there’s manual air-conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control for added convenience on long hauls. Safety has also been a priority, with dual front and side airbags, traction control and rear parking sensors included.

    Running costs and support

Affordability and low running costs are part of the appeal. GWM’s wide dealer network supports the SX with aftersales service that reduces downtime and helps businesses keep their costs predictable. “Fleet vehicles must do more than just move goods and people. They need to be reliable tools that contribute to the success of the business,” Ramabulana adds.

    Warranty and service plan

Every SX is backed by GWM’s comprehensive ownership package:

    • 7-Year / 200 000 km transferable warranty
    • 7-Year roadside assistance
    • 7-Year / 75 000 km service plan
    • 12-month or 15 000 km service intervals
