Mercedes-Benz South Africa has introduced the GLA Night Edition, a new special-edition variant of its compact SUV range. The model combines the familiar versatility of the GLA with a darker, more distinctive visual treatment aimed at urban buyers.
The GLA Night Edition is finished in MANUFAKTUR Alpine Grey, a colour exclusive to this variant. The exterior is further defined by standard AMG Line styling, which includes a sportier bumper design, bonnet power bulges and a grille featuring the Mercedes-Benz star pattern. Black design elements form part of the Night Package, with gloss-black finishes applied to the wing mirrors, window surrounds and roof rails.
The edition also introduces bespoke AMG alloy wheels that are unique to the Night Edition. LED headlamps and LED taillights come standard, along with a rear diffuser that completes the darker exterior theme.

Inside, the GLA Night Edition carries over the brand’s latest interior layout. The cabin features a freestanding dual-screen setup, including a 10.25-inch central infotainment display running the latest MBUX system. Three turbine-style air vents sit at the centre of the dashboard, while a Nappa leather steering wheel and a redesigned centre console round out the interior specification.
Power comes from the GLA 200’s engine, producing 120 kW and 270 Nm of torque. The drivetrain is aimed at everyday usability, covering city driving and longer journeys with ease.

As standard, the GLA Night Edition includes features such as the Parking Package with reversing camera, lumbar support seats and the Mirror Package. Mercedes-Benz has packaged these elements into a single specification level to simplify the buying process.
Pricing for the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Night Edition starts at R972,387, including a five-year or 100,000 km service and maintenance plan.
