Chery South Africa has introduced an update to the Tiggo 4 Cross LiT, bringing several improvements to safety, lighting, comfort and connectivity.
The Tiggo 4 range has been a strong performer for the brand since its local launch in November 2024. According to Chery South Africa, more than 18,000 units were sold in 2025, placing the model among the top-selling passenger vehicles in the country.
The latest updates apply to the Tiggo Cross LiT MT and Tiggo Cross LiT CVT, both of which are now available through Chery’s 92 dealerships nationwide.

One of the key changes is the addition of LED headlights and full-width rear lighting, improving visibility while also giving the compact SUV a more modern look. Safety has also been strengthened with the addition of front side airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and passenger seatbelt reminders. Other features include smart cruise control, electrically heated side mirrors and a rear-view camera, which is now standard.
Inside, the updates focus on comfort and convenience. Both models receive faux leather seats, a rear centre armrest and dual 10.25-inch digital displays that handle the instrument cluster and infotainment system. Automatic models also gain a driver footrest, aimed at improving comfort during longer journeys.

Connectivity features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless one-touch start and a voice assistant, while the audio system has also been upgraded.
Despite the added features, pricing for the updated models remains unchanged. The Tiggo Cross LiT MT is priced at R279,900, while the Tiggo Cross LiT CVT comes in at R309,900.
