Ford South Africa has launched the updated 2026 Territory, giving its family SUV a fresh design, more technology and a stronger focus on everyday comfort. The new model builds on the outgoing Territory with revised styling and added convenience features across the range.
Up front, the Territory gets a more sculpted bonnet, a wider grille and updated LED headlights that give it a cleaner and more modern look. New paint options like Cactus Grey and Oasis Green have also been added to the range.

Inside, the focus remains on space and practicality. The cabin offers generous rear legroom, a flat rear floor and updated seats with improved headrests for better long-distance comfort. Rear passengers also get air vents and USB charging ports, while boot space measures 448 litres and expands to 1,422 litres with the rear seats folded.
Power comes from a 1.8-litre turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine producing 138kW and 318Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Drivers can choose between four drive modes: Normal, Eco, Sport and Mountain, depending on road conditions and driving style.

The cabin features dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Ford App connectivity for the first time, allowing owners to remotely access key vehicle functions from their smartphones. Safety features include Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Centreing Control.
The new Ford Territory is available in three trim levels:
Territory Ambiente 1.8L EcoBoost 7AT – R534,900
Territory Trend 1.8L EcoBoost 7AT – R584,900
Territory Titanium 1.8L EcoBoost 7AT – R643,900
As with all new Ford models, the Territory comes with a 6-year/90,000km optional service plan, a 4-year/120,000km warranty, 4-year/unlimited distance roadside assistance and a 5-year/unlimited distance corrosion warranty.
