Bugatti Destrier debuts as the brand’s latest one-off creation

The Bugatti Destrier is the latest one-of-one model to emerge from the brand’s exclusive Programme Solitaire. Inspired by the extreme Bugatti Bolide, it swaps race-focused aggression for sculptural beauty, showcasing Bugatti’s ability to combine cutting-edge engineering with exceptional design and craftsmanship.

Named after the powerful horses ridden by medieval knights, the Destrier is the lowest Bugatti ever built, standing just one metre tall. While it retains the Bolide’s carbon-fibre chassis and 1,600 PS quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W16 engine, its design has been completely reimagined. Large aerodynamic elements have been removed, allowing the car’s sculpted body and flowing lines to take centre stage.

The one-off model introduces a new design language for Bugatti, featuring a wider horseshoe grille, a revised C-line, and a graceful rear inspired by the Chiron Profilée. It is finished in an exclusive Sapphire Celeste paint, complemented by polished aluminium trim and blue-tinted exposed carbon fibre.

Inside, the cabin replaces the Bolide’s race-focused interior with a luxurious blend of brown leather, nubuck, and advanced 3D-knitted fabric, creating a warm, bespoke atmosphere tailored to its owner.

The Bugatti Destrier will make its public debut during Monterey Car Week, with its official unveiling at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on 16 August 2026.
