Jaguar has revealed the interior of its upcoming Type 01 for the first time, giving us an early look at the cabin ahead of its full reveal in New York on 6 October 2026.
The biggest talking point is the dramatic central spine that runs the length of the cabin. It separates the interior into four individual spaces while giving the Type 01 a distinctive, driver-focused layout.

Jaguar says the cabin draws inspiration from travertine stone and artisan textiles, with a tonal colour palette complemented by brass-inspired detailing across the central spine and doors.
The dashboard has been kept slim, with infotainment integrated into the interior design rather than dominating it. A digital ClearSight Rear View Display is positioned centrally at the base of the windscreen, while various controls and technologies are designed to remain hidden until needed.
Jaguar has also focused on the driving position, with the driver seated low in the cabin to create what the company describes as a confident and cossetting environment.

The Type 01 prototype will make an appearance at Monterey Car Week wearing a distinctive new wrap before heading to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on 16 August.
The full Jaguar Type 01 will be revealed in New York on 6 October 2026, when we expect to learn more about the production model and its specifications.
