Meet the successor to the Pagani Huayra, the new Pagani Utopia. Like the Huayra, which translates to “God of Wind”, the Utopia name is taken from Thomas More’s 1516 book “Utopia” which describes the philosopher’s ideal world.

Powering the new Pagani is a Mercedes-AMG sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that produces 635Nm and a colossal 1,100 Nm. It sends its power to the rear wheels via a single-clutch automated manual transmission or a 6-speed manual. It weighs in at a mere 1.280kg thanks to Pagani’s Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62 materials. The Utopia also uses a “new type of A-class carbon fiber” that has 38 percent more stiffness but at the same density as previous versions of carbon fiber.
According to Pagani who asked owners of the existing models, buyers responded by saying they want simplicity, lightness, and the pleasure of driving. Hence why the Utopia has clean line with Pagani mastering the art of keeping active aerodynamic elements subtle.

Inside the Pagani Utopia is pure luxury as Pagani uses nothing but the finest materials. There only one screen which sits in front of the driver between the rev counter and speedometer and everything else being mechanical. The steering wheel, pedals and gear shifter are milled from metal blocks.

Pagani plans to build 99 units if this hypercar, with all have been spoken for.
