Infiniti is no stranger to creating some jaw-dropping concept cars. The automaker has revealed their newest concept dubbed the QX Monograph Concept which will debut at this year’s 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. According to Infiniti, the QX Monograph Concept gives us a glimpse into the brand’s alluring vision of its future design language.

    Evolving design

Outside, the QX Monograph Concept heralds the evolution of Infiniti’s design language, characterized by a confident, athletic stance paired with grand, yet graceful proportions. New signature elements contribute to the design of the QX Monograph, including an illuminated three-dimensional emblem at the front, representing the first application of Infiniti’s new logo on a vehicle; the progression of Infiniti’s double-arched radiator grille, inspired by the grandeur of a bamboo forest; and the latest interpretation of Infiniti’s “digital piano key” lighting.

The QX Monograph Concept has a minimalist yet powerful profile that’s also sleek. Highlights include  functional air intakes finished in gloss black, flush (pop-out) door handles and massive precision machine-finished alloy wheels with bold red highlights and gloss black and shadow chrome spokes.

At the rear, the QX sports an integrated rear spoiler, ‘INFINITI’ lettering on the tailgate and a large LED light bar delivering both “welcome” and “farewell” animation sequences. The rear diffuser suggest that the production version might have an all-electric derivative too.

Finally, the QX Monograph is finished in a striking new hue created by the Infiniti design team called “Akane.” Inspired by the powerful yet serene moment of sunset, the paint features a complex, six-layer structure to channel the appearance of a warm glowing red sunset as it transitions into a dark night sky.

As mentioned above, the QX Monograph will officially debut at this year’s 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance followed by the production version after a couple of years.
