Subaru has revealed the sixth-generation Forester at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show, showcasing its most advanced features, modern design, and improved ride comfort to date. With standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Subaru’s award-winning EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, the 2025 Forester introduces a tablet-style 11.6-inch SUBARU STARLINK® Multimedia system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In the States the Forester will be offered in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring trim levels. The SUV boasts an all-new exterior and interior design, combining sleek aesthetics with classic rugged elements. The updated Subaru Global Platform enhances body rigidity, dynamic performance, and cabin quietness.

Safety features include the latest EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, Emergency Stop Assist, Rear Seat Reminder, and more. The Forester’s capabilities are highlighted by a revised Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, X-MODE with Hill Descent Control, and enhanced situational awareness with the available Surround View Monitor.

Under the hood, all trim levels feature a 134kW/244Nm 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine, a Lineartronic CVT, and performance enhancements like Active Torque Vectoring. The Forester prioritizes comfort with ample space, supportive seats, and improved sound dampening. Notable features include a kick sensor-activated Hands-Free Power Rear Gate, SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system, and advanced safety technologies. Specifics regarding availability and details for South Africa will be disclosed at a later date.
