Following the local debut of the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One, the Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two is now available in South Africa. Only 23 examples of Range Rover’s flagship high-performance luxury SUV are available to order through select JLR retailers in South Africa.

    Performance

Headlining its performance credentials is the potent 467kW, 750Nm 4.4-litre Twin-Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine. The revered powerplant endows Range Rover Sport SV with the capability to accelerate from 0-100km/h in a claimed 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 290km/h.

To rein in the immense power, clients can select the optional Carbon Ceramic Braking system with SV-exclusive eight-piston Brembo front calipers and 440mm front brake discs. Further control is afforded by Range Rover Sport SV’s pioneering 6D Dynamics suspension system, which offers a combination of hydraulic interlinked dampers, height-adjustable air springs and pitch control. The revolutionary system dramatically reduces pitch and roll to maintain a near-level body stance during extreme cornering, heavy acceleration and hard braking, while also increasing grip and enhancing comfort and refinement.

    Four exclusive exterior options

Outside, the Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two sets itself apart with four exclusive themes. Each one is carefully curated to ensure an assertive presence and sporting personality on the road: Blue Nebula Matte, Marl Grey Gloss, Sunrise Copper Satin and Ligurian Black Gloss.

The Blue Nebula specification features a matte finish, containing a hint of green, and finished with a colour shifting effect. This is paired with the new Satin Forged Carbon exterior pack, a painted carbon-fibre bonnet and 23-inch forged black alloy wheels – complemented by Blue Nebula brake calipers. Inside, SV Performance Seats are finished in Light Cloud and Ebony Windsor leather.

The second curation combines a Marl Grey Gloss exterior with a Gloss Carbon Twill exterior pack, Exposed Carbon Twill bonnet and 23-inch Carbon Gloss wheels with Sunrise Copper calipers, offered with a Rosewood and Ebony Windsor interior.

A Sunrise Copper Satin exterior finish is offered on the third curation, with Satin Carbon Twill exterior pack, painted carbon fibre bonnet and a 23-inch forged black alloy wheel with red anodised calipers. Inside, the seats are upholstered in Ebony Windsor leather.

The fourth exclusive curation features a Ligurian Black Gloss exterior with Satin Carbon Twill exterior pack, exposed carbon fibre bonnet and 23-inch Carbon Gloss wheels with contrasting Nano Yellow brake caliper, and Cinder and Ebony interior in Knit and Ultrafabrics.

Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two also features exclusive branding on the front splitter, centre console, tread-plates and puddle lamps; a mark of sporting luxury that makes it instantly recognizable.

For each curation, clients can opt for alternative wheels – including new 22-inch Diamond-Turned alloy wheels with Satin Dark Grey contrast – plus different brake caliper colours. The exterior of each SV Edition Two can be specified with a body-coloured roof, a new Satin Forged Carbon Fibre Pack, or Twill Carbon Fibre Pack introduced on SV Edition One, as per the client’s preference, and dependent on the exterior paint finish.

    Exclusive interior

Inside, new Satin Forged Carbon Fibre trim finishers can be specified to match the exterior. Twill Carbon Fibre trim finishers are also available, with matching carbon fibre seat backs. Every Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two comes with Body and Soul Seats (BASS) enabling clients to feel the sound and experience wellness benefits, incorporating the latest in‑car sensory audio technology and the option of Knit and Ultrafabrics, or Windsor leather.

    Pricing

The Range Rover Sport Edition Two is priced from R3,971,500
