Hyundai is expanding its SUV range with the all-new Casper. The Casper is a compact crossover SUV with a design that fits in with the rest of the Korean automaker’s range and 1.0-litre powertrains.

    Design

The tiny Hyundai Casper has a bold and muscular appearance thanks to two-part LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and round LED headlights as well as flared wheel arches, contrasting cladding, roof rails and faux front, and rear skid plates highlighting that it’s an SUV. The Casper 3595 mm long, 1595 mm wide, and has a wheelbase of 2400 mm.

    Powertrains and availability

Powering the Hyundai Casper is a normally aspirated 1.0-litre engine as well as a turbocharged 1.0-litre engine. Hyundai will reveal more details on the powertrains after its imminent debut in South Korea. Hyundai’s smallest SUV will be slotted beneath the Hyundai Venue and will compete with Suzuki’s Ignis.
