    Mercedes-Benz debuts an all-electric EQV in Geneva

    Last week, our Khulekani got the opportunity to get close and cozy with the all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQ C and already, the Stuttgart firm has debuted its EQ V at the Geneva Motor Show. Incidentally, Khulekani met a slightly camouflaged EQ V in Stuttgart less than three weeks ago.

    Following in the footsteps of the EQC, this one is also fully electric and power comes from what Mercedes calls a “compact electric drivetrain (eATS).”

    It has 150 kW of power and 400 km of driving range and a 62-percent charge is achievable in just 15 minutes via rapid charging.

    The EQV can carry up to eight people at a time, depending on how you configure it and buyers can choose between a seven- or eight-seat setup. The former uses six individual captain’s chairs to carry up to seven passengers, while the latter adds a rear bench for extra space.


    It’s only a concept for now but Mercedes-Benz promises that a consumer-ready version of the EQV concept will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later in the year.
