    Growing Opel SA line-up sees Combo Life addition

    Opel South Africa has announced the addition of the Opel Combo Life people-mover to its local line-up. The 5-seater Combo Life is said to offer comfort and dynamics of a passenger car and the spaciousness and variability an MPV. In terms of looks, the Combo Life sports colour-coded bumpers, door handles and side mirrors to match the body colour.

    Interior

    Inside the Combo Life offers a 7” Touchscreen IntelliLink Infotainment System whilst a speed-sensitive power steering with tilt and telescopic adjustment, plus steering wheel audio controls and cruise control, which drivers to keep your eyes on the road in their preferred seating position in a height-adjustable driver seat with the comfort of lumbar support.

    Practicality

    Left- and right-sliding rear doors and a tailgate with window, afford easy access for passengers as well as goods. The Combo Life offers 60/40-split rear seats which enable a load of up to 690 kg when flattened forward.

    Safety

    The Combo Life is equipped with a number of passive and active safety features which include 6 Airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Traction Control and Hill-Start Assist.

    Engine

    A 1.6 turbo diesel engine with 68 kW of power and 230 Nm of torque fires the Combo Life. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Opel claims a combined fuel consumption of 5l/100 km.

    Price

    The Opel Combo Life is priced from R369,900. Prices include a 3 year/60,000km service plan and a 3 year/120,000km warranty and with roadside assistance of the same duration.
