Since its launch at the end of 2019, the Venue has proven to be a hit moving over 9,500 units. To offer value to the costumer and to expand on this success, Hyundai has introduced a new entry-level derivative to the Venue range.

    Budget savvy

With the attractive price tag of R259,900, the new entry level model comes in at R58,000 less than the next variant in the range. According to Hyundai, the cost savings does not mean a total cut back on features but this model boasts an impressive list of standard features.

    Standard features

The steering wheel has remote audio controls for the Bluetooth-enabled 8-inch infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity for smartphones.

Other standard conveniences include a rear-view camera and Rear Park Assist sensors, electrical adjustment for the side mirrors and front, and rear electric windows

The Venue 1.2 Motion (manual) is available with 15-inch steel wheels with styled covers as standard equipment.

    Power and safety

The entry-level Hyundai Venue is powered by a 1.2 4-cylinder engine with 61 kW and 114 Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Safety features include two airbags – one each for the driver and front passenger, seatbelt pre-tensioners with force limiters, ISOFIX child seat attachments for the rear seats, and ABS.

    Pricing

As mentioned above, the Hyundai Venue 1.2 Motion is priced from R259,900. Pricing includes a 7-year/200,000 km manufacturer’s warranty, a 7-year/200,000 km manufacturer’s warranty and 7 years/50,000 km roadside assistance.
