Mercedes-Maybach has revealed an updated version of the S-Class, bringing what it describes as the most extensive changes yet to its flagship luxury sedan.
The updates touch on everything from design and materials to technology and performance, with a clear focus on refinement rather than reinvention.
One of the biggest changes is the introduction of MB.OS, which makes its debut in a Maybach model. This is paired with the latest generation MBUX infotainment system, offering updated graphics, improved responsiveness and more advanced voice control. Rear passengers also benefit from upgraded screens and controls, reinforcing the S-Class’ focus on comfort in the back seat.

Visually, the changes are subtle but noticeable. The signature Maybach grille is now larger and can be illuminated, while lighting elements throughout the car have been refined. New wheel designs and additional colour options, including updates to the MANUFAKTUR programme, give buyers more ways to personalise their cars.
Inside, the cabin remains focused on comfort and detail. New materials and finishes have been introduced, along with updated ambient lighting and a revised centre console. Features such as reclining rear seats, a refrigerated compartment and rear entertainment screens continue to highlight the car’s luxury focus.

Engine options remain a key part of the package. Buyers can choose between an updated V8 with mild-hybrid assistance or the range-topping V12, depending on market availability. Both are aimed at delivering smooth, effortless performance rather than outright sportiness.
Ride comfort has also been improved with updates to the suspension system, which now uses predictive technology to better adapt to road conditions. The goal is to keep the cabin as isolated and calm as possible, regardless of the surface.

Mercedes-Maybach has also expanded its MANUFAKTUR customisation programme, offering a wider range of paint colours, interior trims and bespoke options. For buyers in this segment, personalisation remains a major part of the appeal.
The updated Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is expected to go on sale in international markets from the second half of 2026, with local availability yet to be confirmed.
