Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa has confirmed the arrival of the heavy-duty Ranger Super Duty in South Africa in 2027. This new variant blends commercial-grade practicality with enhanced off-road durability.

Set to become an even more capable Ranger than the already impressive line-up, the Ford Ranger Super Duty is positioned as the most extreme Ranger in the heavy-duty segment. It has been designed to offer increased towing capacity, improved off-road capability, and greater versatility for customers seeking a true “do-it-all” truck.

The Super Duty is expected to provide a more refined and highly capable pick-up solution for industries including agriculture, utilities, forestry, mining, infrastructure maintenance, and various other commercial sectors.

It also offers strong off-road capability for adventure enthusiasts, allowing drivers to tackle challenging terrain while transporting oversized caravans or mobile homes, helping owners reach destinations that may otherwise be inaccessible.

The Ford Pro Converter programme is designed to enhance support for customers requiring specialised vehicle customisation, ensuring their vehicles are properly equipped for work or recreational purposes. Ford also conducts a rigorous assessment process to ensure installation methods align with the company’s quality standards.

Thanks to the Ford Pro programme, customers can work with their preferred dealer to customise their Super Duty according to their specific industry requirements or personal preferences.

Ford South Africa has yet to confirm local specifications and pricing.
