iCAUR South Africa has officially revealed an all-new fully electric family SUV, set to launch locally in two trim levels. The new 03T from iCAUR aims to further grow the new-energy vehicle segment in South Africa.

The highly anticipated sub-brand from Chery Global has unveiled its latest all-electric SUV. Positioned above the V23 in the line-up, the 03T stylistically retains the brand’s modern-retro design language. Its body is constructed from an all-aluminium multi-cavity structure, which is said to resist corrosion for up to 30 years. This design also helps reduce the vehicle’s weight by 30% and lowers energy consumption by up to 3%.

Exterior features include LED headlights and taillights, a panoramic glass sunroof, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The SUV also features rear multi-link suspension and MacPherson front suspension.

Powering the 03T 2WD derivatives is a single electric motor that produces 135kW and 220Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 65.69kWh battery pack. The model can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 10.5 seconds and has a top speed of 150km/h.

The AWD derivative receives a dual-motor powertrain producing 205kW and 385Nm of torque from a larger 69.77kWh battery pack. It can sprint from 0-100km/h in 6.5 seconds, while top speed is also limited to 150km/h.

Inside, the 03T features a modern 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and voice-command functionality. A 50W wireless charger comes standard on both models.

In terms of safety, both derivatives come equipped with ISOFIX child-seat anchor points, six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, and a 540-degree surround-view camera system. Driver assistance features include ESP, EBA, traction control, and several additional active safety systems.

The iCAUR 03T will be available in the South African market from 28 May 2026.
