Isuzu Motors South Africa (IMSAf) has announced a series of leadership appointments across its Finance, Corporate Services, and Manufacturing divisions as the company looks to strengthen its operations and support future growth.
The appointments form part of the company’s broader strategy to build leadership capacity, strengthen institutional knowledge, and support long-term sustainability in a rapidly evolving automotive industry.

In the Finance and Business Planning division, Greg Wood has been appointed Department Executive: Finance and Business Planning. Wood has been with Isuzu since 2003 and has held leadership roles across finance, procurement, and component exports. In his new position, he will oversee the company’s financial strategy and business planning functions.

Within Corporate Services, Fundiswa Mahlanyana has been appointed Department Executive: Corporate Planning. Having joined Isuzu in 2004 as a Graduate-in-Training, Mahlanyana has worked across finance and product planning and played a role in several vehicle programmes, including the launch of the latest Isuzu D-Max. She will now oversee corporate planning, research, and sustainability initiatives.

Nandi Matomela has been appointed Department Executive: Corporate Affairs. Since joining the company in 2013, she has held various roles in product communications, marketing, and brand strategy. Her new responsibilities include corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, corporate social investment programmes, and strengthening the Isuzu corporate brand.

In the Manufacturing division, Etienne Venter has been appointed Department Executive: Manufacturing. Venter brings 25 years of experience within the company and has held several senior positions across manufacturing and engineering. He will oversee production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, facilities, and technical support operations.
According to Isuzu, the appointments are aimed at strengthening the organisation’s leadership structure and ensuring the business remains well-positioned to respond to changes within the automotive sector while supporting its long-term growth objectives.
