Land Rover Classic has unveiled a stunning collection of bespoke Classic Defender V8 models, commissioned by a single client and finished in a unique colour-shifting Spectral Green paint.

Depending on the light and viewing angle, the finish shifts between shades of green, purple and gold, creating one of the most distinctive Defender collections ever built.

The project highlights Land Rover Classic’s Works Bespoke programme, which allows customers to create highly personalised Defenders.

The collection includes a 90 Station Wagon, 90 Soft Top, 110 Station Wagon and, for the first time, a 110 Double Cab Pick-Up as part of the Classic Defender V8 programme. Each vehicle features matching details, Icy White accents and a luxurious leather interior, with around 400 hours spent perfecting the paintwork alone.

Inside, Land Rover Classic has also modernised the ownership experience with the introduction of a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Seamlessly integrated into the dashboard, the system adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with Bluetooth functionality, digital radio and an optional reversing camera.

Under the bonnet, every remastered Defender V8, based on original 2012 to 2016 Defender models, is powered by a 298kW V8 engine and a range of upgraded performance components designed to deliver a modern driving experience while preserving the Defender’s legendary character.

The biggest news for many enthusiasts is that the 110 Double Cab Pick-Up is now officially available to order, giving buyers another way to own a modernised version of the iconic Defender.
