Isuzu Motors South Africa has extended the standard service plan for its updated Model Year 2026 (MY26) D-MAX and MU-X ranges from five years to six years, while retaining the 90,000km limit.
The enhanced service plan applies to all MY26 D-MAX and MU-X models sold from 1 May 2026. Isuzu has also confirmed that the extended coverage will carry over to future model years of both vehicle ranges.
The additional year of cover is included at no extra cost and is aimed at giving owners longer access to scheduled servicing, particularly those who cover lower annual mileage and may not reach the distance limit within five years.

According to Chris Jonk, After Sales Executive at Isuzu Motors South Africa, the extension is intended to give customers greater confidence throughout the ownership experience while reinforcing the brand’s reputation for durability and long-term support.
The revised service plan is available to both private and business customers and forms part of Isuzu’s broader after-sales offering.
South Africa’s bakkie and large SUV segments remain highly competitive, with after-sales support becoming an increasingly important consideration for buyers. By extending the service plan to six years, Isuzu strengthens its ownership package for customers considering the D-MAX or MU-X.
The updated six-year/90,000km service plan is now standard across all MY26 Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X models sold locally from 1 May 2026.
