Land Rover has refreshed its Discovery line-up with the introduction of the new Discovery Landmark, joining the existing Discovery S and Discovery Tempest to create a three-model range.

Positioned between the entry-level S and the flagship Tempest, the Landmark introduces exclusive styling details, additional standard equipment, and a new Tasman Blue exterior finish available exclusively on the model.

The Landmark can be identified by its unique Discovery badging, Graphite Atlas exterior accents, 21-inch alloy wheels finished in Dark Agate Grey, and bespoke interior trim. Inside, buyers also benefit from a panoramic sunroof, a centre console refrigerator, and Tech Velour finishes on the dashboard and door panels.

The Discovery Tempest continues as the flagship of the range and is now available in an exclusive Borasco Grey paint finish. It also features Petra Copper exterior accents, 22-inch alloy wheels, and new interior colour options, further distinguishing it from the rest of the line-up.

The Discovery S remains the entry point into Discovery ownership, offering seven-seat practicality together with features such as wireless smartphone charging, multiple USB charging points, and Land Rover’s latest Pivi Pro infotainment system.

Across the range, the Discovery continues to offer its renowned off-road capability. Standard features include Terrain Response 2, All Terrain Progress Control, a maximum wading depth of 900mm, and a towing capacity of up to 3,500kg. A new Driver Attention Monitor also joins the range, using a driver-facing camera to monitor attentiveness behind the wheel.

Depending on the market, the Discovery is available with a choice of six-cylinder Ingenium petrol and diesel engines.

    Local pricing starts at:

    Discovery S – from R1,824,700

    Discovery Landmark – from R2,136,800

    Discovery Tempest – from R2,363,000
