Jetour South Africa has introduced updated versions of its Dashing and X70 Plus, with both SUVs receiving revised styling, more powerful engines, additional technology, and expanded safety features.

The refreshed models arrive nearly two years after Jetour entered the South African market and follow the recent introduction of the brand’s T-Series range.

    More power across the range

One of the biggest changes comes under the bonnet. Both the Dashing and X70 Plus now feature a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Outputs have increased from 115kW and 230Nm to 125kW and 270Nm, giving both SUVs stronger performance than before.

    Refreshed styling

While the overall design remains familiar, both models receive a number of visual updates.

The Dashing retains its sporty appearance, now complemented by red exterior accents and updated interior finishes. Buyers can choose from six exterior colours: Onyx Black, Slate Grey, Forest Green, Ash Grey, Crimson Red, and Glacier White.

The X70 Plus adopts a more premium look with a redesigned front grille finished in brushed aluminium, while new 19-inch alloy wheels complete the exterior updates. It is available in Onyx Black, Slate Grey, Forest Green, Ash Grey, and Glacier White.

    More technology and comfort

Jetour has also added more standard equipment across the range.

The Dashing now features an eight-speaker Sony sound system, privacy glass, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and, on the Prime model, heated and ventilated front seats.

The X70 Plus receives many of the same upgrades, including dual-zone climate control and heated and ventilated front seats on the Prime derivative. Engine stop/start functionality has also been added.

    Improved safety

Safety has also been enhanced on both models. New features include Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), intelligent high and low beam control, a 540-degree camera system, front parking sensors, and an expanded airbag package.

Jetour has confirmed the following starting prices:

    Jetour Dashing – from R429,900

    Jetour X70 Plus – from R444,900
