Mazda Southern Africa has announced a promotional price for the Mazda2 1.5 Active Manual, which is now available from R289,900.
The price reduction applies without changes to the vehicle’s specification or ownership package. The Mazda2 Active continues to use a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 85 kW and 148 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The compact hatchback is equipped with LED headlights, colour-coded wheel covers and fold-away mirrors. Its size also makes it suited to urban driving, particularly when it comes to parking and navigating tighter spaces.
What you get for the money
The Mazda2 Active’s cabin includes a touchscreen infotainment system with six speakers, electric windows, keyless entry and start, and central locking.
Safety equipment includes ABS brakes and automatic door locking when the vehicle is moving.

The ownership package is also carried over with the promotional price. Buyers receive a five-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, a three-year unlimited-kilometre service plan and five years of roadside assistance.
Mazda says the promotional price is aimed at making the Mazda2 Active more accessible to first-time new-car buyers, while retaining the existing specification and ownership package.
