Toyota recently unveiled a new derivative of the automaker’s sports car—the GR86. Dubbed the GR86 Yuzu Edition, this package adds “boy racer” styling to the Gazoo Racing sports car.

Exterior Styling Updates
On the outside, the GR86 Yuzu Edition sets itself apart with model-specific features, including a vibrant yellow exterior color—a nod to the memorable special edition of the GR86’s predecessor, the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0. Other enhancements include redesigned front and rear bumpers, large quad exhausts, redesigned side skirts, black accents all around, and a ducktail-style boot spoiler.

Interior Styling Updates
Inside, the Yuzu Edition features a black interior with yellow accents. Customers will find black Ultrasuede-trimmed sport seats with yellow perforations, as well as yellow stitching on the steering wheel, parking brake handle, and door trim.

Performance
The GR86 Yuzu Edition is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4-litre Boxer engine developing 174 kW at 7,000 rpm and 250 Nm at 3,700 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. The automaker also claims the GR86 sprints from 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, which is 1.1 seconds faster than the previous-generation Toyota 86.
Availability
Only 860 units of the Yuzu Edition will be assembled for the North American market in 2026.
