Positioned as a rugged yet premium double-cab, the new LDV Terron 9 combines the everyday comfort of an SUV with the capabilities of a tough off-roader and the practicality of a utility vehicle.

The LDV Terron 9 arrives in South Africa with impressive towing specifications. Starting at R779,900, all models come standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with DRLs, roof rails, and an electrically operated tailgate.

This new double-cab has the size and proportions of a capable off-roader, complemented by advanced driver assistance systems, 220mm of ground clearance, and a wheelbase of 3,300mm. Claimed towing capacity stands at 3,500kg.

Power comes from a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels.

The Terron 9 delivers 164kW and 530Nm of torque, with several drive modes to choose from, including Normal, Eco, Mud, Snow, Sand, Tow, Rock, Wade, and Crawl for a more tailored driving experience.

Inside, the premium feel is immediately noticeable, starting with heated and ventilated leather seats, while the driver’s seat also features a massage function. Other highlights include dual 12.3-inch displays, dual-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, and a JBL sound system.

The Terron 9 has achieved a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. Safety features include seven airbags, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with forward and rear collision warning, hill-start assist, hill descent control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and traction control.

The LDV Terron 9 comes with a 5-year/200,000km warranty.
