The new Mercedes-AMG CLA marks the arrival of the brand’s first all-electric compact performance sedan, blending AMG styling with impressive performance and a usable driving range.
Up front, the CLA features an AMG-specific grille with ten vertical slats, slim headlamps, and a prominent front splitter that give it a lower, wider stance. Wider front fenders, a shark-nose front end, and sculpted power domes further distinguish it from the standard model.
The newcomer rides on 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, while 20-inch alloy or forged wheels are available as an option. Around the back, an AMG-specific bumper and six-fin diffuser round off the exterior changes.

Buyers will be able to choose from a range of paint colours, wheel designs, and brake caliper finishes, while optional AMG Night Packages add gloss black and dark chrome exterior trim.
Inside, the cabin follows the familiar AMG approach, with sports seats, ARTICO man-made leather upholstery with red stitching, and an AMG steering wheel with integrated controls. Unlike many compact sedans, the CLA is configured as a dedicated four-seater, giving rear passengers individual seats rather than a traditional rear bench.
Power comes from three axial-flux electric motors producing up to 500kW, allowing the CLA to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 2.7 seconds.

Mercedes-AMG claims a WLTP driving range of more than 670km, while an 800-volt electrical architecture supports high-speed charging and improved efficiency.
Combined energy consumption is rated at between 16.5 and 18.7kWh/100km, depending on the model specification.
