Alfa Romeo confirms Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio orders reopen until 2027

Alfa Romeo has announced that orders are once again open for the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio, extending the production run of both models through to 2027. For enthusiasts of the Biscione brand’s performance flagships, this is welcome news.

The decision follows continued demand for the current generation Giulia and Stelvio, particularly in their most focused Quadrifoglio form. These models represent the sharp end of Alfa Romeo’s performance offering and remain two of the most engaging driver’s cars in their respective segments.

The Quadrifoglio badge carries serious heritage. It first appeared in 1923 when Ugo Sivocci won the Targa Florio in an Alfa Romeo RL bearing the now famous four leaf clover. Since then, it has signified the brand’s highest performance road and race cars.

Under the bonnet of both the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio sits a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 producing 375 kW. The Giulia sends power to the rear wheels, while the Stelvio uses Alfa’s Q4 all-wheel drive system. A mechanical limited-slip differential helps optimise torque delivery, improving traction and cornering stability.

Lightweight materials play a major role in the driving experience. Aluminium is used extensively in the engine, while carbon fibre features on components such as the transmission shaft, bonnet, spoiler and various interior elements. The Giulia also benefits from an active carbon fibre front splitter that adjusts airflow beneath the car to enhance stability at speed.

Both models are fitted with an Akrapovič exhaust system, giving the V6 a deeper and more distinctive tone, reinforcing the connection between car and driver.

Visually, the Quadrifoglio models lean heavily into their performance identity. The Giulia rides on 19-inch five-hole alloy wheels, while the Stelvio gets 21-inch items. Grey anodised brake calipers, carbon fibre detailing and a choice of bold colours including Rosso Etna, Verde Montreal and Blu Misano complete the look. Inside, Racing Sparco sports seats trimmed in leather and Alcantara underline the sporting intent.

In South Africa, the Giulia Quadrifoglio is priced at R2 039 900, while the Stelvio Quadrifoglio comes in at R2 225 900. Both models include a five year or 100 000km warranty and maintenance plan.
