Kia has lifted the wraps off the refreshed Kia Stonic – a compact crossover that blends bold new styling, an upgraded interior, cutting-edge connectivity, and one of the most comprehensive safety suites in its class. With these updates, the Stonic is not just raising the bar in the B-segment crossover space – it’s redefining what buyers can expect from an affordable yet feature-packed SUV.

    Bolder, sharper and more confident

The new Kia Stonic makes a striking first impression thanks to Kia’s evolving “Opposites United” design philosophy. At the front, it gets a sharper grille, reworked bumper and Kia’s modern Star Map Signature Lighting which gives it a futuristic look at night. The rear is equally stylish with redesigned taillights, a cleaner bumper profile and an updated tailgate.

Customers looking to make an even bigger statement can opt for the new Adventurous Green and Yacht Blue colour options. Wheel choices now include fresh 16-inch and 17-inch alloy designs, with the sportier 17-inch alloys reserved for the flagship GT-Line trim.

Premium touches in a compact package

Inside, the new Stonic looks like it belongs in a class above. The biggest talking point is the panoramic dual-display setup – two seamlessly connected 12.3-inch screens that serve as the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Adding to the futuristic vibe is Kia’s new Multimode Touch Display, which allows drivers to switch between climate controls and infotainment menus at the touch of a button.

Other thoughtful upgrades include a redesigned steering wheel, refreshed gear knob, updated dashboard and a more practical centre console. Tech lovers will appreciate wireless smartphone charging, USB-C fast charging ports and ambient interior lighting, making the cabin a comfortable space for both city commutes and long road trips.

Measuring just 4,165 mm in length yet offering up to 352 litres of boot space, the Stonic proves that small can still be practical.

    Safety and advanced safety features

Kia has gone all out to make sure the new Stonic offers peace of mind. The crossover now boasts one of the most advanced safety packages in its class. Key features include Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist with Safe Exit Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist 1.5, Highway Driving Assist, Lane Following Assist and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control.

These intelligent systems don’t just react to hazards – they actively work to prevent them, giving drivers and passengers confidence whether navigating busy city streets or cruising on the highway.

    Powertrain

Under the bonnet, the new Kia Stonic offers a choice of efficient yet punchy 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol engines, available in both standard and mild-hybrid (MHEV) configurations. Buyers can also choose between a six-speed manual transmission or Kia’s slick seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result is a compact crossover that balances everyday performance with impressive fuel efficiency – perfect for urban adventurers and long-distance travellers alike.

    Availability

Kia has confirmed that the refreshed Stonic will roll out globally, with local market availability to be announced in due course. Given its new features, stylish updates and premium-inspired cabin, the Stonic is well-positioned to rival popular compact crossovers like the Toyota Urban Cruiser, VW T-Cross and Hyundai Venue.
