Nissan SA has introduced the Magnite Kuro, a special edition following the release of the Red Edition back in 2022. The Magnite Kuro features a unique midnight colour scheme, new technology, and improved fuel efficiency, boasting elements like wireless charging and around view monitors.

Named after the Japanese word for ‘black,’ the Kuro showcases an all-black roof, 16-inch black wheels, dark interiors, and distinctive red brake calipers for added flair. The colour palette for the Magnite Kuro includes black, white, silver, and red.

Inside, the Kuro maintains a host of features such as the eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, and cruise control. Additionally, it introduces wireless smartphone charging.

Stefan Haasbroek, Marketing Director at Nissan Africa, emphasizes the vehicle’s subtle sophistication and technological advancements, catering to drivers seeking a distinguished presence on the road. The Magnite Kuro aligns with Nissan’s commitment to safety and comfort through the NIM technology suite, prioritizing Intelligent Driving, Intelligent Power, and Intelligent Integration.

Powering the Nissan Magnite Kuro is the same 1.0-liter turbocharged engine found in the Red Edition, producing 74 kW and 160 Nm of torque when paired with the five-speed manual gearbox. With the optional CVT, the torque is slightly reduced to 152 Nm.

The Nissan Magnite has earned a 4-Star Rating for Adult Occupant Safety from GNCAP, with key safety features including the Electronic Stability Programme, Traction Control System, Hill Start Assist, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

    Pricing:

Nissan Magnite 1.0T Kuro SV MT Edition: R323,200

Nissan Magnite 1.0T Kuro SV CVT: R351,800
